FFPRI hosts live and static events at the IUFRO world day.

IUFRO WORLD DAY - Digital Forest Science Forum 2021 - be part of a global event in three time zones around the world with 24 hours of forest-related research topics, networking and emerging issues of relevancy for global policy makers. A unique opportunity to meet, interact, share and strengthen global research cooperation. Join it on 28 and 29 September 2021 to connect all over the globe.

Time Zones
1) North America and South America (JST Sep. 29 1am〜9am)
2) Africa, Europe, Middle East (JST Sep. 28 10am-17pm)
3) Asia, Asia Pacific, Oceania (JST Sep. 29 12noon-20pm)

Live event: Short Interviews with FFPRI researchers: Talking about Research Topics, Global Perspectives and Future Goals

As an introduction of our static event, four researchers from FFPRI, who also present posters at static event, talk their research interests, future goals/dreams etc. accompanied by a brief introduction of the FFPRI by the Director General.

Static event: State-of-the-art Research Topics for the Future

Short description:Selected researchers from FFPRI’s research areas on forest, forestry, wood industry and forest tree breeding present state-of-art topics of their researches, including future prospects and international collaboration.
