We study wildlife behavior and ecology to develop and disseminate scientific information needed to understand and manage forest ecosystems, particularly with regards to forest conservation policy. Our research emphasis is primarily on the coexistence of human and wildlife, targeting not only threatened or endangered species but also nuisance and invasive species that create economic losses to forestry and agriculture and increase the extinction risk of native wildlife.
