Department of Forest Resource Chemistry
The Department of Forest Resource Chemistry uses chemical and biological techniques to elucidate the properties of polysaccharides, lignins, and wood extractives when converted into functional materials. By making use of these materials, we develop technologies for material and energy utilization as well as environmental restoration.
