About The Science Garden grounds

 Is it alright to collect the lovely flowers and other exhibits?

The Science Garden is an experimental facility and a research center, and its plants and animals are objects of research. Apart from special cases where permission is given for surveys and educational purpose, taking plants and animals from the Science Garden is forbidden.

 Are there any cafes or restaurants?

The Sciense Garden does not have any cafes or restaurants and does not sell bento lunches nor any other foodstuff. Drink vending machines are near the entrance.

 Is it alright to boil water and cook things on portable gas stoves?

The Science Garden needs to prevent fires, so visitors cannot use portable gas stoves or similar Garden.

I'd like to have a drink or two while enjoying the cherry blossoms, Is that possible?

Visitors are not allowed to bring alcohol into the Science Garden or drink alcohol inside the Science Garden. 

Can I bring pets?

Research on wild animals is conducted in the Science Garden, so visitors must refrain from bringing pets.
