The Forest Science Museum is a resource for communicating research findings on forests to the general public. We exhibit a wide variety of materials, including panels, pictures, and videos. We also hold lectures on forests, and everyone can join in. The Forest Science Museum has two floors spanning 914 square meters. The Museum building has very little metal in its structure, and it functions in its own right as an exhibit of various methods and skilled techniques of building with wood.
Since November 2016, notices in Braille have been in place at the following exhibits, which you can touch
Second floor : Sounds you can make with wood; the weight of different kinds of wood; the various qualities of different kinds of wood; and structural materials of the Forest Science Museum, the pillars, etc.
There is also a childeren's space on the Forest Science Museum's second floor. You can discover a great deal about the shapes of leaves and about different animals, and there are books to read as well. Please feel to drop by the Science Garden.
