Mission Statement

Mission

Through research associated with forests, forestry,and forest products industries, as well as through forest management and protection by insurance, we will contribute to the development of a sustainable human society that utilizes the gift of resources bestowed by the rich and diverse forests in an environmentally sound way.

Vision

We intend to lead research that is essential for the future of Japan, while reinforcing policies by taking advantage of the high levels of expertise in forest management and insurance.

Tasks
