Amphibian in the Tama Forest Science Garden Japanese fire-bellied newts(Cynops pyrrhogaster), Eastern-Japanese common toads(Bufo japonicus formosus), Montane brown frogs(Rana ornativetris), Wrinkled frogs(Rana rugosa), Forest green frogs(Rhacophorus arboreus), Schlegel's green tree frogs(Rhacophorus shlegelii). In a pond behind the museum building, frogspawns are observed in February(Montane brown frog), from March to April(Eastern-Japanese common toad) and in May(Forest green tree frog.)
