Commentary |
They are often seen not only in forests, but also in urban parks and gardens. They feed on insects and seeds. They are beneficial birds in that they feed on insects that attach to the leaves of cherry trees in the Cherry Tree Preservation Forest. In winter, they form mixed flocks with Japanese pygmy woodpecker, Coal tit, and Long-tailed tit. |
