Commentary |
A small evergreen ground-creeping shrub that grows in woodlands and at forest edges. The leaves are round and shiny, about 10 cm long, shallow, and divided into 3-5 lobes. It has dense brown hairs on the stem and petiole. White flowers are arranged in clusters of five to ten at the ends of branches and in leaf axils. The fruit is a cluster of about 1 cm in diameter and ripens red in winter. |
