Commentary |
A perennial creeping plant that grows well in grasslands, thickets, and at forest edges. The flowers are 5 mm in diameter and there are many on the inflorescence, but the number of flowers blooming and the same time is very small. The four petals are green, falling off as soon as they bloom, and orange flower disk is prominent. The flower disk is a nectar gland, and the large amount of nectar attracts a variety of insects. |
