A perennial plant that prefers well-lit spots. Grows in well-lit areas even in woodlands. The branches, and radical leaves attached to them spread out along the ground, seeming to cover it. The radical leaves are seen often in the Science Garden in the winter as well. Dark purple, symmetrical flowers bloom laterally from the leaf axils. |
