A perennial plant that grows in woodlands on mountains. The leaves are divides into three lobes with the lateral lobes further divided into two lobes, making them appear to be divided into five lobes. The flowers are 2-2.5 cm in diameter, and pale red to white. The lateral valves are hairy and the labellums have purple strands. The spur is rather thick. The summer leaves that emerge after flowering are significantly larger than the spring leaves. |
