Commentary |
An annual or biennial plant in brightly lit area such as fields and roadsides. It is entirely covered with white fluff and therefore appears white. The radical leaves found in winter die by the time the flowers are in bloom. It has numerous yellow flowerheads at the end of the flower stalk, and it bears tiny fruit with pappi, which are borne or the wind. |
