Commentary |
A perennial plant found in somewhat well-lit forests. The flowering season is early among violets, with triangular heart-shaped leaves and pink flowers that open in March. Many in the Science Garden have white spots along the veins of the leaves. The undersides of the leaves are purple in color. |
