Commentary |
A perennial plant that grows in sunny areas and in shaded areas that receive light such as forest edges. It reaches 30 to 70 cm in height. The yellow petals have a strong luster and there are nectar glands at the base. The fruit is green and shaped like kompeito, a Japanese sugar candy. |
