The stems are long, do not stand upright and often droop. The blue-purple flowers are thick, tubular, 4-5 cm long, upward-facing, and can be observed in the first half of fall when the bumblebee Bombus diversus is particularly attracted to them. The fruit is inconspicuous, surrounded by dead flowers. |
