Commentary |
In the Science Garden, they can be seen here and there in the Cherry Tree Preservation Forest and the arboretums. They are easy to distinguish from the common dandelion because the involucres are not warped and have angular projections at the ends. The flowerhead has a diameter of 4 cm and consists only of lingual flowers. The leaves are all rooted and spread in rosettes. When cut, they ooze white sap. |
