Commentary |
A biennial plant that grows in well-lit areas. The stem and leaf have bristly hairs rough to the touch. Radical leaves appear from winter to spring, and flower stalks grow from the center. The radical leaves disappear around when the flowers bloom. The flower heads are all of yellow, lingual flowers, and the involucres also have bristly hairs. |
