Commentary |
A perennial forest plant.The stems rise at an angle and altemate with leaves. A peduncle emerges from the axil, which then splits into two or three branches, and a white tubular flower blooms downward from the tip. The tepals are fused and the tip opens out slightly. The fruite is black when ripe. |
