Commentary |
A deciduous shrub with creeper characteristics. It has sharp thorns and grows like a vine, entangling with other trees and plants. Bipinnate leaves. The flowers are yellow, about 3 cm in diameter, and grow on a raceme in great numbers, conspicuous even from a distance. The flowers has five petals but is not butterfly-shaped. When the legumes are brown and ripe, they cleave in two and produce seeds about 1 cm long. |
