Commentary |
This plant can be found in the Cherry Tree Preservation Forest. The radical leaves are well developed and the stem leaves less developed. In fall, the upward-facing flowerhead is a collection of numerous small, tubular flowers, surrounded by a non-sticky involucre. The fruit has feathery pappi and is borne on the wind. |
