Commentary |
An evergreen perennial plant that grows along mountain valleys. The flowers are small, with quite prominent dark red stamens, but the bracts around the flowers become yellow and very conspicuous. In the flowering season, the leaves are brown with white spots - these leaves having survived the winter. When the flowering season is over, the plant products stolons, which grow green leaves. |
